P&O Ferries Spirit of France on its way soon!Following the successful launch of the Spirit of Britain, P&O Ferries has announced that its sister ship the Spirit of France will be joining the Dover to Calais route in early September. Together these two ships will more than double P&O Ferries’ capacity. Each ship is capable of carrying a staggering 1059 cars, 1750 passengers and 180 Lorries. But what does this actually mean for P&O Ferries customers? Well, the new ships will make a huge difference to the P&O Ferries fleet, as they boast the most high tech and up-to date features of any ferries in the world. The safety features are beyond comparison and the level of comfort on board has taken cross-channel ferry travel to a whole new level. With up to 25 crossings a day the Spirit of Britain and the Spirit of France will both be working pretty much around the clock for the next two decades before they’ll no doubt be replaced by some even more exceptional ships. P&O Ferries has some great deals on its Dover-Calais route at the moment so if you want to experience the thrill of traveling on one the true big beasts of the seas then now is your chance. You can get a car and up to nine people on-board for just £35 each way for any duration – so there are no excuses for putting off that road trip a minute longer. Why sit at home when the motorways of Europe are waiting to be explored? |
